Hai,

I’m Bíbor, a graphic designer based in Hungary. I love projects with a soul and projects that try to change the world for the better, one step at a time.

My favourite projects to work on are the ones where I got the chance to try something new - a new technique, a new approach, a new point of view.

Projects made with a sip of creativity🍷

FIDGETYPO

The 3D-printable alphabet, FIDGETYPO blends the playful functionality of fidget toys and the visual world of typography. Each letter has moveable, tactile elements designed to reduce stress and anxiety, particularly amongst neurodivergent people. The set also supports dyslexic children in learning letters and spelling. The project also contains 3D animations displaying the letters' functions and cards of the 3D models, with fun facts, to enhance usability and turn learning into an enjoyable experience.

3D Paraphrase

In this project I designed a 3D model and animations of Denis Freitas' illustration. The focus of this project was to define the differences between 2D and 3D illustrations. The main difference I see is that a 3D model can be turned around easily, but a 2D illustration would require the artist to create a new picture of all the different angles.

Arden

This is Arden, a lidérc (a demon or “nightmare” of the hungarian mythology), wearing a costume. He’s a bit shy, because he was bullied a lot when he was
a child, but he’s trying to explore the world. He’s a bit clumsy, but he’s trying his best.

Rolling Moon is a display font with characters made of circles that follow the formula of the golden ratio. The 3D models of the letters are based on spheres, which makes them resemble planets or moons.

Neuroinkluzivitás a tervezőgrafikában

The growing neurodivergent population makes it essential to address neuroinclusivity, therefore my master's thesis is Neuroinkluzivitás a tervezőgrafikában (Neuroinclusivity in Graphic Design). Although there is no golden rule for neuroinclusive design yet, there are guidelines that can be followed to make our projects more accessible and therefore more widely available.

In my thesis I focus on neuroinclusive graphic design solutions for reading and navigation difficulties. The cornerstone of inclusive design is a user-centered mindset, to which the easiest approach is "if it’s annoying, it's probably not accessible." *

For the designed thesis book, I did the bookbinding and for the installation of the book I also designed a 3D printed bookstand. I used the Bionic Reading font for the main text in my book. The debossing on the front cover of the book and the pressable craft foam layer in the back cover allows this book to become an anxiety-relief fidget object itself, connecting it to my master’s work (FIDGETYPO).

Miért a medve?

Miért a medve? (Why the bear?) is a 162 page photobook about sexual assault and abuse. I collected stories from through a form. I paired the 21 incredibly painful stories with photos of damaged surfaces as metaphores for wounds of the soul. The cut-out spine of the book represents vulnerability, and opening up about our traumas.

Egy járvány hajnalán

Egy járvány hajnalán (The prime of an epidemic) booklet contains selected poems of A bebábozódás után (After the pupation) POKET pocket-book, with illustrations. The 15 illustrations share a color palette and the illustration style, resembling the contents of the poems.

Guiding Lights of my Cosmic Cluster

Guiding Lights of my Cosmic Cluster is a poster about my inspirations and their inspirations. The listed people and movies inspire not only me, but my art and my goals too. They have the power to motivate me day by day. They are represented by planets of my solar system, where their inspirations are their moons.

The title of the poster refers to them being guiding lights in my life, my solar system, a cosmic cluster.

Cookeryku

Cookeryku Culinary English is an innovative online platform founded by Orsi Csernák, a language teacher and certified cook. Cookeryku offers interactive English courses tailored for culinary professionals, combining language learning with cooking, aiming to help chefs and cooks to confidently work in English-speaking environments.

I did photo- and videography, web design and graphic design (based on the brand guidelines) for this project.

The logo & brand guidelines were created by Felix Csernák (@felixdoingart).

Human Turn

Project Humanturn is a re-branding and website redesign. For the icon I used symbols for human, turning and clock. I used a greenish color palette, refering to meditation and connection with nature.

The website's menu contains: Our mission, How we turn, Next turn, Registration, Archive and Partners. The website design is made for desktop, tablet and phonescreen as well.

Exclusiums

The Exclusiums luggage label series includes 12 illustrations of unique, spectacular museums. The series’ name comes from the combination of the words ‘exclusive’ and ‘museums’. When creating the illustrations, I used the contrast of vivid yellows and blues, with a geometric illustrative approach.
Their icons are modifications of a square: I cut parts out of some, added shapes to others, etc.

Crochet Cube

Crochet Cube is a creative publication that displays crochet techniques through crochet ("granny") squares, the name of each technique, the stitches used, the skill level needed, and the crochet chart of each square.
This booklet highlights the importance of crafts and handmade things. It's made by hand itself and it displays the patterns too, so anyone with any crochet experience can recreate the squares.
